Upskill with our fully funded short courses

Upskill with our fully funded short courses

We have developed a suite of fully-funded short courses focused on supporting you to upskill in key areas, no matter what your sector. These courses have been launched to support the skills needs of individuals and workforces as they deal with the economic challenges of COVID-19.

Our fully-funded online short courses cover a range of subjects focussing on strengthening businesses and providing you with skills development opportunities in response to the current climate.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact it has had on the economy, RGU launched a portfolio of free online, credit-bearing short courses to support individuals and businesses. The response was incredible and despite us increasing the number of places available per course by 300%, within a week that number was also exceeded. We recognise that there is significant demand for more RGU courses at this time and are currently planning how best to meet this - and to do that as soon as possible.

The courses are fully funded 15 credit modules which equates to 150 hours of teaching, self-study and assessment spread over 8 - 10 weeks. They are delivered online to fit in around your working and home life and provide you with a flexible option of professional development to upskill and build upon your expertise.

The courses have been funded by the Scottish Funding Council to support its strategic outcome of greater innovation in the economy, and utilise university funding to provide more agile support for you to upskill and reskill.
